ORIGINAL SIN
2012 In Original Sin I illustrate my poem using eight large-scale mixed media installations. The exhibit explores the myths and eventual truths about gender, sex and sexual abuse and the role that religious and political dogma has played in its' conception. Much of it is based on actual life stories.
In this installation the poem was printed large and placed in the middle of the gallery. Additionally, each stanza was printed on small cards and placed next to the piece or installation that was illustrating that specific stanza.
